Life Until Now

Blair and I work for Cru Global, which is formerly Campus Crusade for Christ.  It all started for us in college at Virginia Tech.  Both of us came to college already knowing who Jesus is, but wanting to learn more.  We did that through Cru (and also found each other - wink, wink).  People spent time with us, encouraged us, taught us from the Bible.  Having a close relationship with God was an every day thing for these people, and it rubbed off on us.  By the time graduation rolled around, we were able to spend time with younger students, help them learn more, and see them grow.

When it was time to make decisions about future and jobs, it was pretty obvious to both of us that if we could do this with our lives full time - sign us up!  We also got married in there.  Actually we got married 2 weeks after Blair graduated from Virginia Tech in 2002, and we joined the staff of Cru about 2 weeks after that (big summer for us!)  Our first 5 years we had the privilege - and I do mean privilege - of staying in Blacksburg, VA, home of the Hokies working with college students.

Now, for the last 7 we've called Florida home, ever since we came to work at Cru's national headquarters here in Orlando.  Blair has worked in a few different ministry roles and is now working with Cru's City ministry to bring an end to the atrocity of human trafficking that is a big problem in the Orlando area.  As far as what I do, well, Little Guy was born on 2006 and Sweet Girl was born in 2009 and thankfully, I am privileged to stay home and take care of them.

We are happy where we are.  Blair is passionate about his job.  We love our kids, our house, our church, our neighborhood, and our friends.  We have become Floridians and enjoy a trip to the beach whenever we get the chance to head to the coast.
